Welcome to our final show of the year, in this years show the three of us talk you through a review of the games released during the year and what we did or didn't like about it with plenty of merriment along the way. The penultimate show before Christmas see's a mixed bag of information and gaming, we tell you how you can record your seasons greetings to be included in next weeks show. Well, the NextGen is among us now with both Steve and I picking up our Xbox One consoles at midnight launch events, listen on to find out how the set up went. Just the two of us this week as Steve has other commitments, this week saw the launch of the PS4 in the US with the Xbox One launching this Friday everything is at fever pitch. We talk about some of the launch stories that have surfaced and where to get a good supply of Post-it notes Toz also gives his hands on impression of the Nintendo 2DS. All three people this week and the anticipation us growing with the US getting their hands on new shiny PS4's in less than 7 days. I have a recap on what I have been up to the last 2 weeks with talk about the Xbox One Tour and getting to play some great games first hand. In our what we've been playing Toz grabs his newly updated Vita and gets into World Rally Championship and MotorStorm RC as well as some Battlefield 4 campaign, Steve finally gets the last remaining achievement in Fallout 3 and clocks up more reward points in Forza 4. I jump back in to the still slightly warm seat used by Steve last week, with plenty to talk about from FIFA 14, Battlefield 4 beta and GTA V as well as more Pikmin 3. We ask if FIFA 14 has moved on enough to warrant a full priced game (don't we ask this every year) and look at the issues surrounding GTA Online. We have a quick first play of the Battlefield 4 beta that has just surfaced and Toz gets into Dragon's Crown on the PS3. This week is Toz'z last week for a week or two while he recovers from this op on Monday, so to make up for the hiatus he get's mega amounts of gaming in this week across all formats. This is another Cranky Gamers first, it's a Tozless show so apologies for it being a bit rough and ready, I am joined this week by StevOO7 for his first appearance of the show and a big thanks to him. We have some chat about the Robbie Williams concert he went to last week and of course we have all the usual charts and gamernights. Back to normal this week after my visit to Derbyshire, I say back to normal, it's not quite as Toz's WWBP this week only features 3DS games as everything else has been packed away ready for his move. But he certainly fills his boots with some cool 3DS titles, I continue my foray into the world of Dark Souls preparing to tackle Blight town but first need to take on Darkroot Garden. Well that was a crazy week, Show 205 was the most talked about show we have had in a long time, things are more sedate this week as far as gaming and NextGen consoles goes but not if you have a leaky fish tank. We bounce in to March with one of the biggest games of the month if not the year which is of course 'Tomb Raider' having never played a one of these games before I was looking forward to giving my views but do they conflict with Tozs' who is a seasoned Tomb Raider player. Beginning of February already and a quiet week for games releases but as always we find plenty to talk about, Toz tells us about his latest trip to the doctors and the implications it may have. I talk about one of this weeks new releases 'Omerta: City of Gansters' and the latest Black Ops 2 dlc and with Toz having given up on Demons Souls, jumps into Dark Souls so does he fair any better with that. There aren't that many new games to talk about this week, but we still manage to give you a bumper show to listen to and not a single minute of timewasting in sight. Toz tells about his experiences with Demons Souls and his delve in to Retro!!!!! gaming on his iPad mini. My retro gaming is limited to old Xbox titles that I have dusted off and given some much need time to, I also fire up Borderlands 2 for the first time since Christmas.
