It's Christmastime, mistletoe and wine children singing christian rhymes. We kick off this bumper show introducing our guest presenter and a quick run down on what we have been playing before we dive into our recap of the gaming year, with talk of the Cranky awards scattered throughout. Only 2 more podcasts left till Christmas over in Cranky Towers the gaming is being done at a more leisurely pace, I have had my feet up most of the week recuperating and Toz has dug out a couple of oldies (and I don't mean the presenters). Toz's Unfinished Swan is now finished and I am slowly closing in on Prestige 1 with Black Ops II, we have details on the Clan Ops and a PS3 retro night in the Clubs and Clans section, some news on Bioshock Infinite again being delayed and the Guitar Hero sequel that got cancelled. Well this week got off to a false start with my cancelled operation so what should have been a busy gaming week didn't really happen, and with a catastrophe on one of my games (find out which in my WWBP). Toz it seems has done all the gaming that I had hoped to do with more on F1 Race Starts and finishing Black Ops 2 (Yes he has finished it). Due to funding this may well be the last Cranky podcast, all will be explained at the beginning of the show.This show is dedicated to Sid Waddell a legendary dart's commentator not the same without him, anyway a busy week both gaming and non-gaming for me, playing my console off-line for a night was an adventure in its self. We cold almost call this a Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 special as for me that's the only game I have been playing all week but luckily Toz has got plenty of other games to chat about. We have plenty of news to discuss from the Halo 4 takings that pale into significance when compared to the Call of Duty and how Microsoft have been rewarding their loyal customers with the 10th anniversary of Xbox Live this week. A strange but bumper show full of gaming, gaming news and some great talking points. Unfortunately Toz can't talk about most of the games he has been playing as they have embargos on them so you will have to wait a bit longer to hear about them. Another long Cranky show for you to enjoy this week with plenty of chat about some of the big releases out this week and coming out next week. Toz speaks about his quest to become the next Brian May (rumour has it he has even gone out and bought the wig) using Rocksmith. We also find out how he got on with the Kinect title Fable: The Journey, will it be the disaster I was expecting and he gets his hands on the most anticipated racer this season, namely Forza Horizons. I discuss my favourite game of this year and for me at the moment my Game of the Year Dishonored which finally now frees me up to try and get going with Resident Evil 6. A really busy week this week for both hosts, I comment on my brush with lady luck, toz found his time split between watching all the different sport on TV, playing Borderland and trying to get into F1 2012. With plenty of gaming to talk about from Toz's continued Borderlands campaign and firing up Rock Band blitz to beat some of those scores listeners have posted over the last week, he also gets to play Fifa 13 and with my huge in depth review of Fifa 13 I may have convinced Toz to put a few hours into his Fifa 13 Ultimate Team. It's been a scorching week so that could explain the lack of gaming news in this weeks show, still never mind we have loads more to talk about, Toz has had one of his busiest gaming weeks for a long time giving Rock Band Blitz a good caning. I start back to work after my 6 week break but still manage to fit in plenty of gaming on the Xbox and 2 games on the PC, the first is Minecraft but what is the second one. I also dish out a few tips for the cool Sleeping Dogs to help you beat some of those difficult gangs and Toz ventures into the multiplayer of Borderlands with an old gaming friend. Were back, after our E3 coverage, and short break we return with another cracking episode of Cranky gamers UK.
